For instance, [3] argued that online communities provide a space for individuals to express and negotiate their cultural identities, often in ways that challenge traditional notions of culture and identity. Similarly, [4] found that amateur media production on online platforms can serve as a means of self-representation and empowerment.
This paper explores the concept of cultural identity and its representation on online platforms, focusing on amateur media production. With the rise of social media and online communities, individuals have gained unprecedented opportunities to create and share content, often blurring the lines between professional and amateur productions.
